Showcase interesting profiles within Michigan IT.
The goal is to spread awareness of the new training, which may be a better option for many units who already direct their staff to take older, outdated versions of data protection training.
We aim to show how existing website infrastructure and available features can be used to locate & collate information and train large language models on already available public information. In addition to improving results by manipulating keywords, phrases, and information from internal documents in shared cloud storage to deliver more accurate results to community members in a more natural questions and answers format.
In addition to improving the management of available data sources by validation and automation, contribute to future Maizey tool updates with improved management features for data sources, such as, but not limited to, direct crawling of XML sitemaps with error reporting or the ability to skip invalid URLs.
Attendees will have a greater understanding of what a disaster recovery plan (DRP) is and contains, as well as why it's important to write, test, and maintain service-specific DRPs and affiliated documentation. They will have a better idea of how to write and test their own DRPs... as well as what not to do when writing and testing them. Indirectly they may learn about change management and facilitation.
Learn how easy it is for end-users to discover software that they have access to an Michigan. Michigan IT colleagues are encouraged to become an editor on the Software Directory, add software titles and information about how users can get access to them through their unit, and promote the tool within their unit. We're currently soliciting ideas for a round of technical & user-interface improvements to the tool and welcome your feedback.
