Ross IT is developing an AI chat assistant named Ross AI-xplorer that integrates data from Michigan Ross public websites and supplemental Google Drive documents with varied content permissions. This new user experience will allow the Ross community to find publicly available Michigan Ross related information in an easier and more intuitive way by asking questions to an AI driven chat bot that will provide a more natural way of locating information.
Most websites, including public Ross websites, offer an XML-based sitemap for SEO and search engine crawling. These sitemaps and supplementary data from Google Drive serve as the primary data sources for Ross AI-xplorer. Additional data sources in Google Drive help to refine responses to make them more accurate. As a result, Ross IT is building a chatbot that assists the Ross community in helping to answer users' questions and locate additional information.
Ross IT continues to explore ways to manage, maintain, and update these data sources during the development process to ensure relevance and accuracy. As Maizey evolves, Ross IT aims to streamline the management of data sources, automate updates, and provide up-to-date information.
