Ross IT has developed an innovative solution to streamline the event check-in process through M-Card scanning. Leveraging both physical scanners and a versatile web app, this system allows for seamless attendance tracking. Attendees can check in simply by swiping their UMIDs or entering their uniqnames, ensuring quick and efficient verification.

In the first phase, developers have enhanced the current method to include physical card scanners that transmit data to a web application, which then displays the photo of the M-Card holder. This ensures accurate verification and enhances security. Additionally, if an attendee does not possess a physical card, they can still be checked in via their uniqname.

Ross IT is now integrating a new service allowing event organizers to track attendance against pre-registrations. This advancement will enable admission based on prior registration, further enhancing the efficiency and security of event management.

This integrated system empowers event organizers, security personnel, and other relevant partners with improved capabilities for attendee identification. It is essential for emergencies or other situations where knowing who is present in the event space is crucial. Ross IT’s innovative approach ensures a smoother and more secure event experience.
