The Data Governance Advisory Committee began meeting in April 2022. The committee’s responsibilities involve recommending business practices for data governance that span data steward areas and ensuring these align with university strategic objectives.
The group is currently focusing on institutional data, a critically important asset to the university, and the resources needed to safely manage and share the data through careful and effective data processing, storage, and access provisioning.
