Abstract
Learn how the ITS DEI Education & Scholarship subcommittee adapted to meet the needs of the moment. Our in-person formal training series was interrupted by Covid as the subcommittee was embarking on year 4 of the 5-year ITS DEI Strategic Plan. The committee had dramatic changes in both the skillsets and resources available even as Summer 2020 demanded a response to current events. These changes necessitated a significant shift in both the development and delivery of DEI content to focus more on current events and virtual engagement. We’ll share the changes we made, what worked and didn’t, and the lessons we take forward into year 5.
