Abstract
We created a recurring process that compares U-M Data Warehouse approved grants (aka golden grants) to the current state of grants. It includes a notification of mismatches and a process to re-grant access. The goal was to keep the U-M Data Warehouse refreshed with the proper access. Grant statements give privileges (like select) to a specific user or role to perform actions on database objects. Example: Grant select on address to m_def_sel.
