Event Location
The 2020 Hacks with Friends event will meet at the Ross School of Business. Separate spaces with a large screen display, whiteboard and conference table will be available for each team.
Parking
Don’t let parking inhibit your willingness to join the fun of HWF. The event is held during the U-M spring break offering a less congested parking experience within U-M permit lots and opens up several parking options for participants to consider. Here are some suggestions.
- Vehicles with business passes or blue pass are permitted to park in any parking space except gold. This includes parking at the S8 Hill Street Structure attached Ross, the E8 Church Street Structure across from Weiser Hall, and the W3 Thompson Street Structure across from the Fleming Building.
- Yellow and Orange lots are located around Chrisler and Michigan Stadium with easy shuttle service from the corner of Hoover and Greene near the Administrative Services Building.
- Metered parking on the street or the City of Ann Arbor's Forest Avenue parking structure, located three blocks east and one block north of the Ross School. No permit is required.
- Free street parking on Tappan past Hill back in the neighborhoods.
